Sometimes, letting go
is where growth begins.

“Seed” began with a simple question: what if a leaf was afraid to let go of the branch it had always known?

As Kadin developed the idea, the leaf became a seed. What started as a story about falling became a song about possibility, hope, and the courage to step into something new.

Inspired in part by friends approaching graduation, the song captures the tension between holding on to familiar people and places and wondering what comes next. Its message extends to anyone navigating a new season of life.

MEET THE SONGWRITER

Music for the
quiet moments.

Kadin Alexander is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter from Olive Branch, Mississippi. His music blends thoughtful storytelling, intimate acoustic arrangements, and a peaceful folk-inspired sound.

Influenced by The Arcadian Wild, Tors, and John Michael Howell, Kadin writes songs that invite listeners to slow down, reflect, and find meaning in everyday experiences.

He has performed regularly at the Mississippi Ale House, both solo and with fellow musicians. Following his 2026 cover releases “Tend” and “The Weather,” “Seed” marks his first original single.
